Emergency Room Registered Nurse
ER RN position available for 12-hour night shifts. 36-hour work guarantee per week. The unit has 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room observation unit. There are six fast track beds for minor non-urgent issues. One seclusion room plus an additional five monitored rooms are available. It is a Level IV Trauma Center. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. An average of 100 patients are seen per day.
Support staff includes five techs during peak hours. Common types of patients seen include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases. The electronic medical record system used is Allscripts - Sunrise. The medication system used is Omnicell. Scrub colors can be anything except all black. Scrubs are not provided.
