Thrive in a high-energy, Level IV Trauma Center designed for efficiency and elite patient care. As an ER RN, you will join a dynamic team managing a 30-room private suite emergency department that sees an average of 100 patients daily. This role offers the perfect balance of high-acuity trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases, supported by a dedicated fast-track unit and a six-room observation unit (EDOU).
With a 36-hour guarantee and a manageable 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, you will have the resources and professional environment needed to provide life‑saving interventions and high-quality emergency care.
Emergency Interventions: Provide rapid assessment and life‑saving care for a diverse patient population, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies.
Patient Advocacy & Care: Manage 3–4 patients simultaneously in a private-room setting, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the emergency visit.
Specialized Unit Support: Coordinate care within the 6-room EDOU observation unit and collaborate with PAs in the 6-bed fast-track area for non-urgent issues.
Crisis Management: Oversee patient safety in specialized monitored and seclusion rooms, applying de‑escalation and advanced monitoring techniques.
Technology & Systems: Utilize Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR and the Omnicell medication system for accurate, efficient charting and drug administration.
Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Partner with a robust support staff, including 5 technicians during peak hours, to ensure seamless patient throughput and departmental safety.
Required QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of professional Emergency Room experience.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License.
Certifications: Must hold current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Proven ability to handle high‑acuity trauma and cardiac cases in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Savvy: Prior experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) and Omnicell systems.
Trauma Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Level IV Trauma protocols and emergency stabilization.
Adaptability: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to pivot between high‑acuity trauma and fast-track minor care.
