Registered Nurse – NICU

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Provide specialized neonatal nursing care in a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, supporting premature and critically ill newborns. Ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare through monitoring, treatment, and family support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients to identify clinical needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications, respiratory therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with Neonatology and NNP teams to coordinate patient care and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures, and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and certifications, including BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Educate families on newborn care, medical procedures, and discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Registered Nurse license with neonatal intensive care experience.
• Hold current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of NICU or SCN experience, preferably in a Level II setting.
• Display strong clinical judgment and neonatal assessment skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and family support abilities.
