Neonatal Nurse
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II SCN unit, ensuring the safety and well-being of newborns requiring intensive support. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based neonatal care in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer specialized interventions and monitor neonatal patients closely to identify early signs of distress.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and clinical observations.
- Ensure all neonatal care complies with hospital policies, safety standards, and industry guidelines.
- Educate and support families, providing guidance on neonatal health and care requirements.
- Maintain certifications and stay current with Neonatal Intensive Care best practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active registered nurse (RN) license with neonatal intensive care certification.
- Possess at least 2 years of NICU or SCN experience, preferably in a Level II setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal assessment, ventilator management, and invasive/non-invasive monitoring.
- Hold valid BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
- Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
