Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Medical Surgical/Tele Nursing Opportunity

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Med Surg unit with Telemetry capabilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort while managing diverse clinical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor cardiac and neurologic status, with expertise in Neuro and Cardiac skills.
• Collaborate with support staff including techs, charge nurses, and PCTs to coordinate care.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and document care accurately in Sunrise Allscripts EMR.
• Support float coverage across Med Surg units and ICU overflow based on patient acuity.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of hospital experience.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Neuro and Cardiac care.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexibility for cancellations and variable patient acuity.
• Be capable of float assignments across different Med Surg units and ICU.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
