Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$2105.28/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN to provide urgent care in a high-volume emergency department. The ideal candidate will manage patient assessments, interventions, and collaborate with support staff to deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to determine appropriate care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using the Allscripts - Sunrise EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Monitor and record patient progress, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases.
• Utilize proper scrubs (excluding all black) and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a Level IV Trauma Center with a 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Experience managing a variety of patient cases including trauma, cardiac, and neuro emergencies.
• Capable of coordinating care with a team of support staff, including techs and physician assistants.
