American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Details- Work in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital with Level IV Trauma Center designation
- 30 all-private ER rooms including a six-room EDOU observation unit
- 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor, non-urgent cases
- 1 seclusion room plus 5 additional monitored rooms
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
- Average of 100 patients seen per day
- Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
- Treats all patient types including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
- Uses Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR
- Uses Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
- 36-hour per week guarantee
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN not required for this position
- Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuities including trauma, cardiac, and neuro emergencies
- Scrubs of any color except all black are required and are not provided
- Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
