Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency care as a registered nurse in a busy Level IV Trauma Center. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver timely interventions and patient management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care for emergency cases across multiple acuity levels.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and conditions, escalating concerns promptly.
• Document patient information accurately using the Allscripts - Sunrise EMR system.
• Support patient safety and comfort, including managing seclusion and monitored rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure with an active state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a high-volume setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage multiple patients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work a 3x12 shift schedule with a 36-hour guarantee.
