Travel RN - Mother Baby - Newborn Nursery

American Traveler is hiring a Special Newborn Nursery RN for a night shift contract requiring NICU Level 2 experience and NRP certification.

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• STABLE certification required
• 2+ years of SCN/NICU Level 2 experience preferred

• Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) with 8 beds in an acute care hospital setting
• Level 3 trauma facility with approximately 800 births per year
• 24/7 NNP and Neonatology coverage available
• 12-hour night shifts with rotating start times , )
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses Allscripts EMR
• Provide nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery setting
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
