American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Details- Work in a 30-room Emergency Department, all private rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
- Unit includes 6 fast track beds staffed by a PA for minor non-urgent issues, 1 seclusion room, and 5 additional monitored rooms
- Level IV Trauma Center treating all patient types including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
- 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio with an average of 100 patients seen per day
- Supported by 5 techs during peak hours
- Uses Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR and Omnicell medication system
- 3x12-hour shifts, , with a 36 hour per week guarantee
- 13-week assignment
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
- BSN not required
- Prior Emergency Department experience required
- Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and trauma cases
- Scrubs are not provided; any color except all black is acceptable
- Cancellation policy allows up to 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
- 8 hours of orientation provided
