What's your day like?As a Field Construction Technician at Cellular One, you will embrace the adventure of working outdoors, where no day is ever the same! This thrilling position involves excavation, underground construction, civil work, electrical work, fiber work, concrete work, wireless communication tower erection, Line and Antenna installations and upgrades and Microwave backhaul installations and upgrades.
What Matters MostTo excel as a Field Construction Technician at Cellular One, a unique blend of skills and certifications is essential for navigating the thrilling telecommunications landscape. Candidates must have a completed High School diploma or GED equivalent, a good driving record, a strong ability to work in various climates, strong communication and organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs at a minimum.
This will empower you to thrive effectively in a construction setting, and enable smooth project documentation and collaboration. Your capability to coordinate with industry professionals and implement project plans will set the foundation for success in this exciting role!
- Ability to work weeklong outings
- Physically and mental ability to climb various types of towers
- Good communication and organizational skills and ability to coordinate with other persons in the industry (Tower owners, customers, engineers, etc.)
