We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions, reporting, and record-keeping for our company. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and financial expertise to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax filings, and financial reporting while working closely with management to support business decisions.
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee compensation records.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and year-end tax filings.
- Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Maintain budgeting and financial forecasting to support business planning.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Work with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a full-charge role.
- Proficiency in Quick Books software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for working with management and external partners.
