Telecom Tax Senior Associate

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

• Telecom related tax and regulatory surcharge compliance
• Preparing & Reviewing
• Manage client portfolios and coordinating deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
• 2+ years of experience with telecom-related tax and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of telecommunications services and taxability (VoIP, broadband, wireless, CLEC/ILEC, UCaaS)
• Familiarity with telecom billing systems and tax rating engines (e.g., Rev.io, Avalara, Sure Tax, etc.)

• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, tax administrators and regulators
• Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff
• Team‑oriented with a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset
• Interest in telecom or tax certifications (e.g., CMI, CPA, JD) encouraged
