Job Summary

A respected professional services firm in downtown Shreveport is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys client-facing work, complex tax preparation and review, and strategic tax planning for individuals and business entities. The Senior Tax Accountant will join a collaborative team that values technical expertise, professionalism, and long-term career growth.

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.
• Analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support to help clients manage tax liabilities and achieve financial goals.
• Research federal, state, and local tax regulations and stay current with legislative and compliance updates.
• Respond to client inquiries, tax notices, audits, and compliance matters in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with partners and team members on complex tax engagements, client needs, and special projects.

• Salary range: $85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
