Two years of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- Responsible for payments in the Tracking Information Payment System
- Provide general clerical support to agency staff members
- Process all special board payments
- Serve as receptionist relief person as needed
- File maintenance of all records related to child welfare cases
- Process a large volume of payments to vendors and providers

Work Schedule:
Typical work hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Appointment Type:
This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee. Louisiana HB 420 requires all prospective DCFS employees to complete and clear multiple background clearances prior to employment with this agency.
