Location: Shreveport, LA (In-Person)

Hargrove Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Safety Director to lead and oversee all company safety initiatives across commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining site‑specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, conducting training programs, and supporting field operations to create a culture of safety across the organization.

• Develop and manage Site‑Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) for all projects.
• Ensure company‑wide compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Partner with Operations teams to address safety concerns, jobsite hazards, and safety program implementation.
• Conduct jobsite visits and safety audits to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Train and certify team members requiring OSHA 30 certifications and other safety‑related credentials.
• Support vendor qualification processes by coordinating safety documentation and compliance requirements with administrative teams.
• Maintain and update company safety manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through ongoing education, communication, and leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 500 Certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Safety Manager, Safety Director, or similar construction safety leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, commercial construction safety practices, and risk management.
• Ability to conduct safety training and effectively communicate with field and leadership teams.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel to jobsites as needed.

• Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000
  , based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
