Role Description The Commercial Superintendent – Sightline (SUPERINT) is a full-time, on‑site role based in Shreveport, LA, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on commercial construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Commercial Superintendent monitors site progress, conducts regular inspections, manages logistics, and maintains detailed project documentation such as daily reports, schedules, and site records.

The role also involves collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients, addressing field issues, and facilitating timely resolution of conflicts or changes. The superintendent promotes a culture of safety and professionalism, leads site meetings, and supports successful project delivery from mobilization through final completion.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial construction supervision, including managing daily site operations, coordinating trades, and overseeing project schedules and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures relevant to commercial projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and related technical documents.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide field teams, collaborate with project stakeholders, and manage conflict constructively.
• Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation for multiple concurrent tasks.
• Experience using construction management software, project scheduling tools, and basic office productivity applications.
• Commitment to workplace safety and risk mitigation, including implementing and enforcing site‑specific safety plans.
• Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience in commercial construction supervision is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work
