Operations Management, Program / Project Manager
Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects
You've never been satisfied with "good enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.
Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.
The work:
You'll lead the planning, execution, and closeout of transmission and distribution capital projects. You'll manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk throughout the project lifecycle. You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project partners. You'll coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities. You'll monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
You'll review project budgets, forecasts, schedules, change orders, and contractor performance. You'll facilitate project meetings and provide status reporting to client and Accenture leadership. You'll ensure compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations. You'll identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. You'll mentor team members and promote continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Onsite at client site:
The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management. MBA preferred. PMP certification desired. Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing utility capital projects. Demonstrated experience delivering electric transmission and distribution projects. Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction management, contract administration, scheduling and cost management. Superior interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Ability to build trusted client relationships and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Central Louisiana.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with transmission lines, substations, and distribution infrastructure. Familiarity with Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, Power BI, or similar project management systems. Experience supporting large utility capital programs. OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
