Project Manager
The Project Manager leads capital projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. This role partners with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to manage project planning, execution, forecasting, and resource allocation. The ideal candidate has experience leading large-scale manufacturing projects and driving successful project outcomes in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Lead capital projects from initiation through completion, coordinating internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure financial objectives are met.
Identify and mitigate project risks while managing scope, schedule, and cost changes.
Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with operational and business requirements.
Coordinate vendor selection, contract execution, and ongoing vendor performance.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and records to support successful execution and project closeout.
Support multiple concurrent projects and priorities within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
5+ years of project management experience, including capital (Cap Ex) projects.
Experience managing projects with budgets of $10M+.
Proven track record leading projects within a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environment.
Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Experience managing contractors, vendors, and third-party resources.
Knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and performance tracking systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
Experience supporting facility expansions, equipment installations, or large-scale capital improvement projects.
Familiarity with engineering, construction, or manufacturing operations.
Experience working in a growing organization undergoing expansion initiatives.
This position is based in an industrial manufacturing environment and involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and external vendors. The role supports major capital investments and facility expansion efforts, requiring regular interaction with plant personnel and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, LA.
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $72.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
