Sr HSE Engineer

As an Environmental Safety Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's Environmental Safety engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with safety and environmental regulations and industry standards, and the implementation of best practices.  Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.

YOU MUST HAVE3-5 years of experience in Environmental compliance in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment

In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices

Proficiency in HSE Management Systems Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilitiesWE VALUE Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

Certifications such as PE, CHMM, REM is highly desired

Ability to work independently and in a team Effective communication skills

Ability to influence and collaborate across functions

Experience with other media and reporting obligationsU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
