Job Summary

A growing software company in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Vice President of Technology to lead technology strategy, software delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical team development. This full-time, direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on technology leader who can connect business goals with scalable, secure, and high-performing software and systems.

This role offers meaningful influence over product direction, technology operations, and long-term growth. • Develop and execute the company’s technology vision, software roadmap, architecture strategy, and long-term technical direction.
• Lead software engineering, product delivery, Dev Ops, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations functions.
• Oversee software architecture, development, testing, deployment, performance, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build, mentor, recruit, and retain high-performing technology teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Manage cybersecurity programs, risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, technology investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.

• Salary range: $75,000 to $110,000 per year.
• Bonus potential available.

• Lead technology strategy, software architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software delivery initiatives.
• Manage technical teams responsible for development, Dev Ops, systems, security, and technology operations.
• Partner with executive leadership on technology planning, budgeting, business growth, and operational improvement.
• Drive scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions that support product and business objectives.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant technology leadership, software engineering, systems architecture, or IT management experience.
• Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, infrastructure, Dev Ops, cybersecurity, and technology operations.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring staff, improving processes, and building a collaborative engineering culture.
• Ability to translate business goals into practical technology roadmaps and execution plans.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working on-site in Shreveport, LA in a hands-on leadership capacity.

• Experience in a growing software company, SaaS environment, or technology services organization.
• Background in executive-level technology planning, budgeting, vendor management, and strategic partnerships.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, risk management, and cybersecurity program oversight.
• Ability to support product direction, operational scaling, and long-term technology modernization efforts.
