Blood Products Distribution Technician
Job DetailsLocation:
Shreveport, LA. Full Time, Mid-Shift. Base pay $14.43/hr with on‑the‑job training provided. Must be able to train on dayshift for the first 8 weeks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record (minimum 3 years of licensed driving history, no DUI convictions, and no more than two moving violations in the past 5 years).
- Ability to lift equipment such as coolers, boxes, and supplies up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on‑call rotation and irregular hours, often exceeding 8 hours per day, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting packaging labels and documenting orders accurately.
- Dependable, punctual, and possessing effective communication and customer‑service skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of donor or patient information at all times.
- Experience requirements: 6 months on‑the‑job training for LevelII duty; 12 months for LevelIII duty.
