We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Sales Counter Associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. Key Responsibilities- Assist customers and technicians with identifying, sourcing, and ordering the correct parts.
- Provide professional customer service at the parts counter and over the phone.
- Research parts availability, communicate with vendors, and place accurate parts orders.
- Process sales transactions, purchase orders, and parts requests with attention to detail.
- Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory records for incoming parts.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, safe, and efficient.
- Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire.

- Manage parts counter sales, phone inquiries, purchase orders, and inventory documentation.
- Research, source, receive, stock, and organize parts accurately and efficiently.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred in parts sales, parts counter service, automotive parts, industrial parts, heavy equipment parts, agricultural equipment parts, or a similar environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn inventory and order management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Stable employment history is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Previous experience working with vendors, suppliers, technicians, or service departments.
- Familiarity with inventory systems, parts catalogs, purchase orders, and sales transactions.
- Background in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial supply, agricultural equipment, or related parts environments.
- Proven ability to build positive customer relationships and provide accurate parts solutions.
