Required

Skills & Experience:

5-10 years of experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain, materials management, project coordination, or equipment delivery management within industrial, EPC, mission-critical, manufacturing, or large-scale construction environments. Experience managing supplier performance and delivery activities for electrical and/or mechanical equipment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production schedules, supplier operations, and delivery planning. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive issue resolution.

Experience tracking supplier milestones, commitments, and schedule performance. Ability to proactively identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks and drive corrective actions. Experience coordinating with vendors, project teams, logistics providers, quality teams, and site personnel. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage escalations professionally and effectively. Experience maintaining status reports, tracking logs, and procurement documentation within ERP or project management systems.

Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, EPC, industrial, energy, or large capital project environments. Experience managing OFCI equipment deliveries and long-lead procurement packages. Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and QA/QC processes. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms. Understanding of project controls, schedule management, material forecasting, and construction execution. Experience coordinating international suppliers, freight forwarding, and logistics activities.

We are seeking an OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) Expeditor to support large-scale industrial, mission-critical, and data center projects by monitoring supplier performance, equipment manufacturing progress, testing milestones, and delivery schedules. This role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers, project teams, supply chain, and site stakeholders to ensure critical equipment is delivered on time and ready for project execution.

Unlike a traditional procurement role, the Expeditor does not own contracts or purchase orders. Instead, they are responsible for proactively tracking supplier commitments, identifying potential risks, driving resolution efforts, and coordinating recovery plans when issues arise.

The ideal candidate combines project management, supplier management, and technical aptitude. They should be comfortable reviewing manufacturing progress, understanding production challenges, participating in supplier visits, and escalating issues with the appropriate level of urgency. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Monitor manufacturing, testing, inspection, and delivery activities for OFCI equipment from project inception through final delivery. Track supplier commitments, production schedules, milestones, and delivery dates to support project execution.

Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers, project teams, site teams, logistics providers, and supply chain stakeholders. Conduct regular follow-up with suppliers to verify manufacturing progress, testing schedules, and shipment readiness. Identify potential delays, quality concerns, and schedule risks before they impact the project. Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate recovery plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Participate in supplier visits, fabrication shop inspections, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and progress reviews as needed.

Review supplier status reports and analyze manufacturing data to provide project updates and recommendations. Maintain procurement tracking logs, delivery schedules, risk registers, and status reporting documentation. Support project teams with ad hoc supplier-related requests and issue resolution activities.
