Description
The Charge Nurse RN is responsible for overseeing nursing care and daily operations within an assigned unit of the facility. This role provides clinical leadership, supports staff performance, and assists with coordination of resident care in accordance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations. The Charge Nurse RN with Unit Manager duties works collaboratively with nursing leadership to promote quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective unit operations.
A $2,000.00 sign-on bonus is available, subject to facility terms and conditions.
Qualifications- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing practices and long-term care regulations
- Ability to provide clinical oversight and support nursing staff
- Ability to assist with unit coordination, staffing, and documentation
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
