3 West is a 30 bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit located on the 3rd floor of Willis Knighton Bossier. The patient population consists of adult medical/surgical patients who require remote cardiac monitoring due to newly diagnosed or chronic cardiac conditions. RN and LPN staff are responsible for providing the highest level of nursing and medical management using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. Nurse/Patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6 with CNA and Telemetry Tech support staff.

The schedule is based on 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. Orientation with a preceptor is provided according to experience. New graduates welcome. ACLS and Basic Dysrhythmia course provided.
