Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Family Medicine

Role Overview :
Provides professional nursing care to clinic patients, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs general nursing duties, administers treatments, prepares equipment, and assists during examinations and tests. Observes, records, and reports patient conditions and reactions. Manages appointment scheduling, greets patients, takes medical histories, and prepares patients for exams. Instructs patients on sample collection and tests. Performs various clinical procedures, including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, wound care, medication administration, and patient teaching. May perform specialized tasks like blood draws, EKGs, and IV management after appropriate training.

Coordinates testing and patient transfers, responds to calls, and documents care plans and test results. Maintains accurate records and ensures exam room readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, valid LPN license, and BLS certification. Strong communication, organization, and adherence to confidentiality and safety protocols are essential.
