Position Overview

• Patient Care Planning:
  Develops, reviews, and updates individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Patient Care Provision:
  Implements planned care, prioritizes based on patient acuity, and performs procedures following policies.
• Patient Care Evaluation:
  Monitors patient responses, evaluates progress toward goals, and revises plans as needed.

  Assesses educational needs, provides patient and family education, and acts as a role model and preceptor for new staff and students.
• Communication:
  Maintains accurate, concise documentation, promotes open communication, and reports safety concerns appropriately.

• BSN preferred; RN license in the applicable state or a compact license.
• Six months to one year of nursing experience; new graduates with orientation and competency validation are supported.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on specialty, with specified grace periods for acquisition.

• Participation in orientation, residency programs, and annual competency assessments.
• Ability to provide safe, therapeutic patient care, collaborate with the team, and maintain confidentiality.
