Role:
Provides professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.
Responsibilities:Prepares equipment, administers medications, changes dressings, monitors vital signs, maintains patient records, and observes patient reactions and progress. Leads or participates in patient care planning and implementation, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques, and offers leadership to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of RN experience. Requires a current Louisiana State RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 30 days. PALS and SAMA certifications are preferred.
Skills & Attributes:Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, demonstrate leadership, and work effectively across multiple shifts. Must accept scheduling and placement designations determined prior to hire.
