Charge Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

We are excited to open a brand-new 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and are seeking a skilled and motivated Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our team on the night shift.

Shift: 12-hour days, 1845–0708

Schedule:

Rotating, with every other weekend off

Position Summary

The Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical oversight for the unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while supporting and guiding nursing staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily unit operations and patient flow
• Assigning staff and managing workloads
• Supporting bedside staff and assisting with patient care as needed
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent patient outcomes
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Previous acute care experience required;
  Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Leadership or charge experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
