Hourly Pay
$11.00 to $14.00 per hour
Commission & CompensationCommission structure pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.85 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
PositionSummary
The Full‑Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate receives an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items according to policy.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes assigned training.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of job duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting as per law.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside building or retrieve stored items.
- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math calculation proficiency.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- May work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS and office machines.

Commission Plan InformationCommission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
