• Assist with inventory and procurement.
• Manage the open purchase order report with a heavy focus on expediting.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies and other issues as needed.
• Monitor stock outs and make recommendations for changes in stocking levels.
• Communicate with the field on purchase order issues, extended lead times, and critical customer requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and respond to the daily needs of customers.
• Assist with projects as desired.

• Previous purchasing experience in an Industrial Distribution environment preferred.
• Computer literate, preferably Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work closely with others in a team environment, good interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to change; must be willing to make necessary adjustments to meet department workload and deadlines .
