Job Summary

The Courtesy Monitor is responsible for promoting a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves observing and reporting inappropriate behavior, reminding guests of facility rules and policies, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all.

• Politely enforce facility rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Monitor assigned areas to identify and address inappropriate behavior or safety concerns.
• Provide assistance and guidance to guests, answering questions and resolving minor issues.
• Respond calmly and effectively to conflicts or complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to ensure cleanliness and order.
• Document incidents and report unsafe or disruptive behavior to management or security.
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence to deter misconduct.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or facility monitoring is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
• Dependable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
• Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.

• Indoor/outdoor work depending on facility.
• May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
• Occasional exposure to loud environments or crowds.
