Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Job Description:Snelling Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic to join our client's team in the Shreveport area. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliability. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment and vehicles remain in excellent working condition.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience (automotive, diesel, or equipment).
Valid driver's license
Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in various environments.
Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
ASE Certification a plus.
