Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing, maintaining, and improving material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout a high-volume facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, ensuring reliable performance of conveyors, sorters, and robotics. In this role, you will also mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise to help them grow and develop their technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems across the facility to ensure consistent and safe operation.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and robotics systems.
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics on material handling equipment and related control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Apply and demonstrate safety standards in all maintenance tasks, promoting a strong safety culture within the team.
- Use maintenance management tools and CMMS systems to plan, document, and track maintenance activities and work orders.
- Support conveyor maintenance and automation initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement of material handling processes.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Assist with maintenance supervision activities and help coordinate repair and maintenance work as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing hands-on training and technical support to help them develop in their roles.
- Participate in risk management efforts related to equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with operations and project teams on control systems, automation projects, and process improvements.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, to support facility operations and maintenance needs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Shreveport, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61568.00 - $61568.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401k, medical, vision, dental
