Clark Wood are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Managing tax compliance work
• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Supervising fieldwork and ensuring assignments are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Liaising directly with clients, building strong professional relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior members, helping to develop their technical skills and confidence
• Being involved in audit planning, risk assessments, and discussions around audit strategy and fraud considerations

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification)
• Recent experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience leading audit assignments
• Strong technical knowledge
• Good communication and organisational skills
