Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Shrewsbury for an experienced and nurturing Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full‑time basis for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

As the Reception Teacher, you will:

• Lead a Reception class in line with the EYFS Framework
• Deliver engaging, play‑based and child‑centred learning experiences
• Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children's development across all areas of learning
• Complete observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements
• Work closely with parents, carers, and support staff
• Provide effective support and differentiation for pupils with SEN

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within EYFS/Reception
• Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
• Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Is patient, creative, and passionate about early years education
• Works well as part of a team
