Shrewsbury Public Schools – Oak Middle School, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts
Position: ESL/ELE Teacher (Full‑time)
School Year: 2026‑2027
Starting Date: Aug 31 2026

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as an English as a Second Language Teacher, grades 5‑12
• Understanding of the needs and behaviors of middle school multilingual learners with diverse backgrounds
• Experience translating the 2020 WIDA Standards into actionable learning targets for multilingual learners
• Exhibits the core values of Shrewsbury Public Schools
• Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment

• Culturally responsive and sustaining teaching approach with an asset‑based mindset
• Diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, or gender background and experiences

Salary will be based on the SEA contract. Steps and lanes for 2026‑2027 are provided by the school district.

Individual placement is contingent upon review and approval of education and experience.
