Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher at Shrewsbury High School.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

This position would begin on August 31, 2026 and will last through January 4, 2027. There may be a possibility to extend this role. We are also anticipating a need for a full-time position in the  school year.

The rate of pay is $280/day.

Candidates with diverse racial, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

* Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Mathematics, Grades 8-12

* Strong knowledge of high school student needs and programming

* Exhibits the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools

* Works flexibly in a changing environment
