POSITION:
Long-Term Substitute Intensive Special Education Teacher

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Intensive Special Education Teacher at Oak Middle School. This position would begin in early to mid-November and will last through mid to late February 2027 with a possibility to extend.
The pay rate is $280 per full day worked.
We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom and have experience working in various models of special education (inclusion, co-taught, substantially separate).
Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender backgrounds and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications include:
● Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a Severe Special Education Teacher, all levels
● Strong knowledge of middle school student needs and programming
● Exhibits the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools
● Must be able to work flexibly in a changing environment
