Salary: $280 per day

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Intensive Special Education Teacher at Oak Middle School. This position would begin in early to mid-November and will last through mid to late February 2027 with a possibility to extend. The salary is $280 per full day worked.

Candidates should be invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners, and have experience working in various models of special education, including inclusion, co-taught, and substantially separate instruction. Candidates from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and gender backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a Severe Special Education Teacher, all levels
• Strong knowledge of middle school student needs and programming
• Exhibits the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools
• Must be able to work flexibly in a changing environment

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
