The National Safety Council is America’s leading safety advocate. We enable people to put everyday strategies in place to solve problems —  a non‑profit, our focus is on eliminating the leading causes of preventable death and injury.

Teach adult and teen‑focused defensive driving courses (Driver Safety Course curriculum) to a variety of motorists, including those required to attend mandatory driver retraining programs. Conduct classes on weekends, weekdays, and evenings, ranging from four to eight hours per session. Manage classroom dynamics, address unforeseen difficulties such as equipment failures and behavioral disruptions, and adapt instruction to diverse learners.

• Experience in public speaking and leading effective classroom discussions.
• Background in sociology, psychology, counseling or education.
• Ability to handle a diverse group of students and overcome unexpected difficulties.
• Weekend availability preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Pay rate starts at $37/hr full instructor certification training and materials are provided to qualified candidates.
