Project Manager; Onsite in Shrewsbury, MA

The Project Manager is responsible for Custom Engineering projects, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery. The project manager also assists other team members and works on departmental projects, supporting budgets, variance, and schedules. This position reports to the Sr Manager, Project Management and is part of the Custom Engineering Team located in Shrewsbury, MA, and will be an on-site role.

• Support project lifecycle from pre-order sales support through final customer acceptance, ensuring alignment with standard work.
• Ensure achievement of key performance indicators: within specification, on-time, and within budget.
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and customers, managing expectations and updates throughout the project.
• Drive performance outcomes by meeting KPIs and managing multiple complex or strategic projects.
• Apply risk management principles to identify, mitigate, or present options for resolution to issues that impact quality, delivery, or budget.

• 5+ years of previous experience in engineering, operations, process development, or project management within the life sciences industry – with a focus on process engineering disciplines (process development, design, commissioning, and validation).
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of project management software (Basecamp, MS Project).
• Previous experience in performing equipment testing (FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification).
• Travel upwards 25% – international and domestic.

• 3+ years of industrial experience (biotechnology and pharma) in engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Practical application of pharmaceutical/biologics regulations.

• Annual salary range: $95,000 – $110,000 (subject to change).
• Bonus/incentive pay eligibility.
