We have full and part time positions available at Ward 22 Short Stay on the acute floor at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The Acute floor consists of a 22 Short Stay (SS), Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Acute Medical Assessment (AMA) and Same Day Emergency.
22SS is a fast‑paced environment, in which patients are assessed and treated for a variety of medical conditions and focuses on timely discharges and improving flow within the footprint.

** Please note that this role will be moving to a Band 3 - date to be confirmed**
** Please note if you don't hold the relevant qualifications as detailed in the person specification, there will be a requirement to sit our simple in house Numeracy and Literacy assessments**

Person Specification Qualifications- GCSE in Maths and English grade 9-4 ( A
- C) or Functional Skills Level 1 or higher - NVQ2/3 in Health related subject
- Can demonstrate an understanding, through personal statement and interview, of what is required within the role of a Health Care Assistant in the care setting
- Can describe the Trust Values and demonstrate how they put these in to practice within their caring role
- Previous hospital experience
- Evidence of effective verbal/face to face/telephone/written communications and listening skills
- Evidence of the ability to work with others
