About the RoleInventory Supervisor — The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the execution of Cannabis Inventory processes within the dispensary to ensure compliance with state regulations and prompt availability of Cannabis Inventory to patients and customers once received.
Responsibilities- Oversees and coordinates inventory processes within the dispensary, ensuring adherence to inventory management protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate levels of sellable cannabis and non-cannabis inventory for online ordering while avoiding overstocking.
- Maintains digital and physical tracking and organization of all Cannabis inventory with close attention to detail.
- Manages visual merchandising of in-store products in accordance with company guidelines.
- Verifies physical inventory received matches order expectations and delivery manifests before accepting delivered product.
- Processes, documents, and communicates returns with Manager and Retail Buyer; monitors trends.
- Documents and processes quarantined items, including manifesting out and return-to-vendor processes.
- Assists with stocking deliveries after receipt and processing.
- Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and audits within the facility.
- Provides necessary labels and documents to support tracking capabilities for the dispensary team.
- Assists in maintaining analysis reports on external products to inform inventory decisions by the Buyer and attends weekly ordering calls with the Buyer.
- Drafts weekly vendor orders and sends to the Buyer for review and placement.
- Analyzes menu trends from competitors and helps establish pricing strategies with the Retail Buyer.
- Implements efficiencies to maintain organization of sellable and vault inventories.
- Completes weekly destruction with Lead employees as required.
- Manages expiring inventory and communicates promotions to the team.
- Adheres to state and company policies, following appropriate Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks.
- Maintains a clean, safe environment and ensures secure storage of inventory.
- Serves as a resource for dispensary staff regarding product knowledge and new product information.
- Assists with any additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Cash management and inventory control experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of and proficiency with Point of Sale, inventory, and transaction tracking systems used to facilitate sales and operations.
- Must have night and weekend availability; non-traditional hours periodically to oversee all shifts.

Must be able to work quickly but efficiently while maintaining product integrity. Physical requirements include light to moderate lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for prolonged periods, and adherence to facility hygiene requirements.
