Overview

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Class B CDL Driver for its Trenching Branch in Shrewsbury, MA. The driver will deliver and recover trenching equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role typically involves driving a Class B truck hauling equipment on a 10-wheeler in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

Union-Class B CDL Driver. Pay Range: $28 to $30 per hour.

• Deliver and recover trenching equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites.
• Drive a Class B truck (10-wheeler) in a variety of settings and conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural areas.
• Operate safely in construction zones and comply with company policies and procedures.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with CDL and an acceptable driving record
• Experience with truck-mounted cranes (preferred)
• Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites
• Customer service attitude

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
