JCA Catering Assistant Shropshire

• Serve meals to guests and staff.
• Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., cereals, salad bar, drinks).
• Store and rotate food correctly in line with HACCP regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including trays, bins, and floors.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Follow all Allergen procedures

• Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries.
• Support other departments (e.g., housekeeping) during busy periods.
• Greeting guests in the Canteen
  As a Catering Assistant, you'll support our catering team with the preparation and service of meals for guests and staff. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in catering or hospitality, offering the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential. You'll be expected to work a variety of shifts including some weekends, typically shifts are between 6:15 a.m.
  
  -2:45 p.m. or 11:15 a.m.
  
  -7:45 p.m., An interest in catering and/or hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Hard-working with a genuine desire to make our guests happy
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is desirable but not essential., A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player who enjoys working in a sociable environment.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service to guests.
