Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:15
• Pay: £12.21 per hour, rising up to £14.00 per hour once fully trained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in a skilled trade. You will receive full on-the-job training, learning all aspects of furniture upholstery on both modern and traditional pieces. Under supervision, you will be trained in the complete upholstery process, from stripping and preparing frames to cutting fabrics and finishing high-quality furniture.

• Learning upholstery techniques and processes
• Assisting with stripping furniture and preparing frames
• Supporting padding, webbing, and fabric fitting
• Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
• Working to agreed quality standards and time frames

• Good practical skills with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge and interest in fabrics, design and furniture
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Interest in hands-on work, craftsmanship, or skilled trades
• Ability to work well as part of a small team
