Master Vehicle Technician

Location:

Telford

Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is a hands‑on role suited to a technician who excels at diagnosing and resolving complex faults while supporting and mentoring colleagues. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of a Master Vehicle Technician / Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Carry out advanced diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Support and mentor other technicians within the workshop
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
  • Complete job cards and service records accurately and efficiently
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical bulletins
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality of work
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures
  • Assist with complex technical issues and support workshop efficiency
Essential

Skills and Qualifications for a Master Vehicle Technician
  • Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication and mentoring skills
