Vehicle Technician

Benefits, salary and working hours: £32,000 - £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience and diagnostic ability. 45-hour working week. Monday to Friday (7:00am-5:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm). 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am-1:00pm), with occasional additional Saturday cover during annual leave periods. The Role:

Service and maintain a wide variety of cars and light commercial vehicles. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment. Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, clutches, timing components and engine work. Complete vehicle health checks and provide repair recommendations. Maintain high standards of workmanship while working collaboratively with the wider workshop team.

About You:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability. Full UK Driving Licence. An MOT Tester licence and Air Conditioning qualification would be advantageous but are not essential.
